I have a 3D on my site and I did some tests to add a shadow.
- I’m using a 360 background (TextureLoader)
- And my lighting objects is (HemisphereLight / DirectionalLight)

You need to activate the
castShadow property on your directional light and also for the black wall mesh.
light.castShadow = true; // default false
mesh.castShadow = true; //default is false
The ground is the one to
receiveShadows - you have that already.
